Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
This website is operated by ChatGET ("we", "us", "our"), based in the Netherlands. We are currently in the pre-launch phase and have not yet formed a legal entity. You can contact us about privacy matters at privacy@chatget.io.
2. What we collect and why
When you join our waiting list, we collect only your email address. We collect it for two specific purposes:
Launch notification — to let you know when our platform is available. We will not send promotional emails, newsletters, or marketing of any kind.
Aggregated interest metrics — to demonstrate overall demand to potential investors. Your email address will never be shared individually; we only reference the total number of sign-ups.
The legal basis for processing your data under the GDPR is your consent, which you give when you submit your email address (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR).
3. What we do NOT do
We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with anyone.
We do not use your email for marketing, advertising, or spam.
We do not profile you or make automated decisions based on your data.
4. Where your data is stored
Your email address is stored in a database on our own server, hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) in the EU region. AWS acts as a data processor and is subject to appropriate data protection agreements.
5. Third-party services
Our landing page is hosted by Framer (framer.com). Framer may process certain technical data (such as IP addresses and browser information) as part of hosting the website. You can review Framer's privacy policy at framer.com/privacy.
We use Google Search Console to monitor how our website appears in search results. Google Search Console processes aggregated, anonymized search data and does not give us access to personal information about individual visitors. Google's privacy policy is available at policies.google.com/privacy.
6. Cookies
We do not set any cookies ourselves. However, Framer (our hosting provider) may use essential cookies required for the website to function. For details on cookies set by Framer, please refer to their privacy policy linked above.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep your email address until one of the following:
We notify you about the platform launch and you decide whether to create an account, or
You ask us to delete it (see your rights below), or
We discontinue the project, at which point all collected emails will be permanently deleted.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to:
Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
Rectification — ask us to correct your email address.
Erasure — ask us to delete your email at any time.
Withdraw consent — withdraw your consent at any time, which will lead to deletion of your data.
Lodge a complaint — file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) or your local supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@chatget.io. We will respond within 30 days.
9. Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated date. If we form a legal entity, this policy will be updated to reflect the new data controller.
